Each number in bingo has its own nickname or sometimes more than one. Some of these are very well known for example two little ducks for 22 and clickety click for 66. Other less famous ones are sweet sixteen for 16, buckle my shoe for 32 and halfway house for 45. Not all bingo sites will actually call the nicknames, most will just call the numbers.

In the chat rooms CM or CH in front of someone’s name means that person is a chat host or chat moderator. These are the people who look after the room, keep the players in line and answer any questions. If you need to leave the chat room for a minute, type in BRB which means be right back. BBL is be back later. GL is good luck and is usually said at the start of a game. When someone wins you may see WTG which is way to go, WD which is well done or WDW which is well done winner. If you win and are congratulated by the other players, type in TY to thank them.

During a game if you have a certain number of balls left to go before you can win you can type in 1TG, 2TG, 3TG etc so other players know how many numbers you have to go. LOL means laughing out loud and ROFL is rolling on the floor laughing. If someone returns to a room WB is welcome back. Chat lingo at bingo sites is not difficult to pick up. Most of the abbreviations are common sense and if you are ever not sure the other players will help out.
